ACTIVATED CHARCOAL | Carbo activatus

  • This is a product of burned hard woods. Known to help remove impurities and dirt from the skin, improving its texture and appearance. Provides a natural shade of black. 

CANDELILLA WAX | Euphorbia Cerifer

  • Candelilla plant grown in the semi-arid regions of northern Mexico and the southwestern part of the United States. It is a natural vegetable wax that provides texture, stiffness and has moisturizing properties.

CASTOR OIL | Ricinus Communis

  • Originates from the seeds of the ricinus communis plant (Africa and Asia). Castor oil is nourishing, deeply moisturizing, rich in fatty acid: ricinoleic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, soothes dry skin

CLAYS

  • Each clay originates from different types of rocks and have unique mineral composition, allowing them to have different absorption properties. Known to cleanse away dirt, help absorb excess oil from the skin and add silkiness. Natural shades of green, red, pink, orange, yellow, black and purple.

COCOA BUTTER | Theobroma Cacao

  • This butter is the fat derived from the cacao beans. This is the same butter that makes chocolate so creamy delicious! Cocoa butter is high in antioxidants, can help with stretch marks and scars, moisturizing, can soothe irritation.

COCONUT OIL | Sodium Cocoate

  • Originates from seeds of the coconut tree primarily cultivated from Southeast Asia and the Philippines. Coconut oil is Moisturizing, rich in vitamins B, C + E, can reduce inflammation, known to have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties

FRAGRANCE OIL | Fragrance

  • A mix of natural ingredients that are blended with man-made compounds. We only use phthalate free fragrance oils.

    GRAPESEED OIL | Vitis Vinifera

    • Originates from grape seeds (byproduct of wine making). This is oil is gentle, moisturizing, rich in fatty acid: linoleic, can reduce skin inflammation and high in antioxidants .

    JOJOBA OIL | Simmondsia Chinensis

    • Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax ester that originates from Jojoba seeds. Jojoba oil has excellent hydrating and moisturizing properties, rich in fatty acids and vitamins B + E. It's a fast-absorbing yet long-lasting emollient that soothes and softens your skin.

    LEMON PEEL | Citrus Limonum

    • Originates from peels of lemons. Provides a natural shade of yellow.

    LYE | Sodium Hydroxide

    • Essential ingredient for cold process soap. The basic soap recipe consists of fat (oils/butters) + strong base (sodium hydroxide) + water. When all ingredients are combined, saponification (chemical reaction for making soap) occurs and soap is created. 

    MADDER ROOT POWDER | Rubia tinctorum

    • Herb that is harvested from the taproots of the Dyer's Madder plant. Known to prevents acne build up. Natural shade of red.

      OLIVE OIL | Sodium Olivate

      • Originates from crushed olives. Olive oil is moisturizing, gentle, rich in vitamins A + E, known to sooth dry skin conditions, rich in antioxidants, best for all skin types.

      PHYTOCYDE ELDERBERRY | Sambucus Nigra Fruit Extract

      • Natural preservative that contains elderberries that has both antimicrobial and cosmetic benefits. Rich in antioxidants, helps protect your skin from free radicals and has anti-aging skin properties.

        SHEA BUTTER | Butyrospermum Parkii 

        • Originates from the nut of the karite tree native to Africa. Shea butter is high concentration of vitamins A + E, rich in fatty acids: linoleic, palmitic, stearic, oleic, heals and protects sensitive skin, properties for softening skin, deeply moisturizing and can reduce skin inflammation.

        SPIRULINA POWDER | Spirulina Platensis Powder

        • This is a blue-green algae that is found in highly alkaline fresh water ponds and lakes. Prevents acne build up, rich in nutrients, vitamins and both fatty and amino acids. Natural shade of green. 

        VITAMIN E OIL | Tocopherol 

        • Fat soluble vitamin that is synthesized by plants. This antioxidant has many benefits for the skin: Hydrates, softens and strengthens the skin, known to protect your skin from environmental stressors and toxins and known to minimize signs of aging -  boosting that youthful glow.

        WATER | Aqua

        • Water is used as a carrier to help dissolve the sodium hydroxide and allow it to chemically interact with the oils when combined. After saponification occurs and soap making is completed, it cures. It's during this process that some of the water used will evaporate. This creates a harder, long lasting bar.
